University of Toronto Saint George

In January 2025, we proudly launched our chapter at the University of Toronto St. George (UTSG), bringing Muslims in Academia’s mission to the heart of downtown Toronto. Since its inception, the chapter has worked to cultivate a supportive environment where Muslim students and scholars can connect across disciplines, share experiences, and grow together. Through academic discussions, networking opportunities, and community-building events, the UTSG chapter is steadily becoming a space where ideas flourish and meaningful relationships are formed. As one of Canada’s leading research institutions, UTSG offers a dynamic setting for empowering Muslim academics, and this chapter marks an important step toward strengthening that presence.
